If you look at me, you might be surprised to hear that I am a personal trainer, because unlike most personal trainers, I am lean and not in the least bit beefy and muscular. I’m proud to say, however, that I am not in the least bit intimidated, because I specialize in a slightly different type of fitness: Rehabilitation, functional training, and conducting weight loss programmes for my clients.

A few years into working in the electrical engineering and construction industry, I realized one day that my true interest was in fitness. I then joined California Fitness as a trainer and always felt a great sense of achievement whenever my clients saw results. Because of my satisfied clients, my client base grew through word-of-mouth and I was awarded numerous top performer awards in my years at California Fitness.

But as life would have it, I soon had a bad fall from a biking accident and injured my back, as well as sustaining a slipped disc. I left California Fitness ultimately as my mum was also later diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and I needed more flexibility of time to concentrate on helping her with her condition.

Because of my slipped disc condition and the pain and restricted movements caused by it, I was led to do a lot of research, and finally I decided to go ahead to become certified as a rehab trainer.

And so I embarked on this new goal, which is to help people who suffer from all kinds of injuries to regain optimal health and fitness, because I understand how it feels to be constantly in pain, and to have the aftermath of the injury affect one’s daily activities.

I can proudly say that I am able to fix my clients’ injuries 90% of the time on the same day of the treatment, thus making sure that their sessions with me are value-for-money.

As I am a positive and passion-driven person with a “never say die” spirit, I go all out to help my clients achieve their goals. I’m also friendly and approachable so clients can feel 100% at ease with me so that every session is enjoyable and results are maximized.
